ZOOMA Atlanta Half Marathon & 5K is a unique fitness event for women designed to inspire them to lead healthy and active lifestyles. ZOOMA Atlanta will take place on November 16, 2008, with runners starting and finishing the race at Atlantic Station. Upon crossing the finish line, runners will enter an extravagant Post-Race Expo with mini spa treatments, food, shopping, entertainment and more, tailored for women to celebrate their accomplishments with family and friends.
The ZOOMA 2008 National Charity Partner is CARE, the Atlanta-based humanitarian organization that places a special focus on working with marginalized women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities. ZOOMA runners will continue the mission to inspire women around the country to get fit, celebrate their own fitness achievements and the power of women around the world. At least $3 of every entry fee goes directly to CARE.
